The Mirage Bellydancers Website

Three screenshots of the Mirage Bellydancers website and a member's picture on the foreground.

From the site's about page:

Mirage Bellydancers has been entertaining Purdue since 2004. The club is composed of about 40 active members each semester, both undergraduate and graduate students of Purdue. It is advised by Dr. Carol Handwerker, of the College of Engineering.

The Mirage Bellydancers is both an instructional and performance group. Purdue students can join the club by attending the Beginners' session, which takes place over a period of six weeks every semester. After completing the first six weeks, beginners can audition for the intermediate level, where they can take classes in Cabaret, Tribal, and Tribal Fusion styles.

The website is an implementation of the SaWALi Web Application Library, written in Python. It features a weblog and an image gallery (under construction as of this writing). The site is presented using HTML5, CSS, and jQuery.
