Science communication beliefs of researchers based in the Philippines and the United States: A qualitative analysis of research cultures and worldviews

This presentation was created as a visual aid for the dissertation defense of Dr. Inez Ponce de Leon at Purdue University, USA. Her dissertation dealt with the science cultures of researchers based in the Philippines vs. researchers working at Purdue University. Because her research methods were complex, she required animation to show how she carried out data analysis.

This presentation provided that animation, as well as a background and the results of Dr. Ponce de Leon’s research. Her dissertation defense was carried out before an audience of her peers and professors at Purdue University, in April 2011.
