Never Be Unhappy

I consulted with the Oracles
and I was told that you will carry
sadness for me tomorrow because
I will not see you.

Don't.

You should never be unhappy on my account.
Because even if it means that on Thursdays,
I will not be touched by the light that
gives me great joy in every moment
it touches me, I will not despair—

as I may have in the middle of April.

I may be in shadow but I am not in darkness,
I may be alone but I am not lonesome,
I may be away but you will always be close
at least, in my mind.

I, too, have things to do and I do them
even though I seem to be wasting so much time
pulling words out of thick, polluted air;

my commits in Git will reflect this
and so will the generation of our
manifests and invoices
and pre-advices.

Everything is well.
