Always Words of Happiness

Do not fight with
the muscles around you neck.
It's alright to turn your head
towards my direction—
I know that I must evade
your gaze when that happens.

But as always— words of happiness.

Because even when the programming
of others give me pain in my station,

even when I my blood is boiling
for having been placed in this
buggy and errorful situation,

even when I still don't remember
the notes to your songs and
struggle to find them,

I will always be happy to see you.

Did you see through your glasses
how this corner brightened up a little?
How, even in the middle of this difficulty,
I am giggling— and I can't help it?

My day is complete.
